DomainKeys
DomainKeys is an e-mail authentication system designed to verify the DNS domain of an e-mail sender and the message integrity. Setting up your DomainKeys helps to verify that the email is coming from a legitimate domain and is not being sent through a open relay or other SPAM source. This is neccessary for email delivery to all major ISPs and email service providers.
SPF Records
We have incorporated the Sender Policy Framerwork into our DNS servers and the domain you host with us. This verifies that mail sent by your domain is authentic when coming from our network. This will help get your mail through the many ISP’s that are checking the originating network against SPF records.
DKIM Records
Domain Keys Identified Mail (DKIM) is a method for email authentication that allows an organization to take responsibility for a message in a way that can be validated by a recipient. The organization can be a direct handler of the message, such as the author, the originating sending site or an intermediary along the transit path; or an indirect handler, such as an independent service that is providing assistance to a direct handler. RelayCloud is the indirect handler for you.
Email Service Provider Management
Each email service provider has different “preferences” for how they like to receive mail. We manage these relationships for you by introducing these advanced features into your mailings:
- Delivery Policy Management - AOL, Yahoo!, MSN and other ISPs each have different “preferences.” RelayCloud makes sure they get get what they like, so you can what you want - your email delivered to the inbox!
- Proper Handshake Protocols - We set your RelayCloud up to authenticate and communicate properly with each email service.
- Bounce Monitoring - RelayCloud constantly monitors the “bounce rate” from each ISP. If it goes above the threshold, we stop mailing to that ISP until it comes back down.
- Reputation Monitoring - RelayCloud also utilizes real-time feedback to find perceived blocks and remove them for you.
Feedback Loops
In addition to setting your RelayCloud up for the best delivery rate possible, we maintain this high rate by participating in ISP and email service provider feedback loops.
- Auto-remove of all SPAM complaints so no “trouble user” can jepoardize your mailing reputation.
- Manual whitelisting for ISPs that don’t provide per-complaint notifications
